Who could actually talk rather confidently about themselves without the need to play with fire? Chloe's poise and confidence were unshakeable, her calm demeanor unruffled by Arjan's visible distress.

"I've heard about the good news and therefore, invited you here. It will be a double celebration along with Young Lady Alaric." Seraphina's announcement was met with murmurs of approval and excitement, the guests eager to celebrate.

"Young Lady Alaric, you are going to congratulate me, no?" Chloe's words were a subtle challenge, her eyes locking onto Arjan's.

Arjan's expression immediately distorted in response to Chloe's words. Her forced smile wavered, her composure slipping.

"Yes... of course." Arjan's voice was a strained whisper, her eyes darting nervously around the room.

People eventually applauded for Arjan, who was still quite nervous, and Chloe, whose face was all smiles.
