Alex headed home, finding that Charlie and Bella had already come and were eating dinner at the table.
"Hey guys, I'm back!" Alex said as he walked towards the dining table.
"Welcome home, Alex," Charlie said as he lifted his head and looked at his son.
"How did it go? Did you have fun with your friends?" Charlie asked as he looked at Alex, who grabbed a chair and sat next to the table.
"Yeah, was super nice. I haven't gone to anyone's house since I came here to Forks and it brought back memories of Phoenix." Alex said as he smiled at the man who was still in his police outfit.
"What about you, Dad? Is there anything interesting at work?" Alex asked Charlie.
Charlie shook his head and replied, his tone was somber but you could detect hints of anger throughout his voice.
"No, we are still investigating the fire case that happened a few days ago downtown. We still haven't found anything, and from the looks of it, even the hospital was unable to find any traces of DNA, so it seems like the criminal is going to go scot-free."
The longer he talked, the more angry Charlie seemed to be with the entire situation.
Alex stood there frozen for a moment and then gave a twitching smile as he tried to comfort his father.
"It's ok Dad, no need to get so pent up over it," Alex said though in his head he was thinking something else.
'Could you not try too hard now, Dad? I don't really want to be caught.'
The rest of the night went by peacefully as Alex, Charlie, and Bella made small talk with each other.
Unlike the first night, they had together in Forks, they had gotten used to each other's presence already and the conversation flowed much more easily.
Alex mainly started the conversations, but once that was done, Bella and Charlie had no problem expressing their own thoughts.
Finally, it was night time and Alex was in his room, looking outside the window as he watched the clouds converge and pass by.
'Even though it's nighttime, I can see the cloud shapes as clearly as day. Even the stars which I was almost never able to see when I lived in a large city, both in Phoenix and in my past life' Alex thought.
'The next part of the plot only begins a month from now in the books at least, so I don't have any idea if anything happens during this month though nothing did happen during the books, I still need to be on guard.' Alex thought as he opened the window and hopped out onto the roof of the house.
'I've made quite a lot of mistakes since I was transmigrated here. It doesn't really feel correct to call it a reincarnation anymore, considering all the memory bullshit going on,' Alex thought as he looked at the moon.
*Prshttt*
Hearing the sound of bushes and leaves being disturbed, Alex turned his head quickly towards the side, only to see Alice and Edward.
"What the, what are you guys doing here at one in the morning?" Alex whispered, knowing they could hear him perfectly with their enhanced senses.
Alice and Edward quickly and effortlessly climbed onto the roof.
Alice sat next to Alex while Edward stood to the side.
"So you also don't need sleep huh, we're different but also quite the same" Alice whispered as she sat next to Alex and faced him.
"Yes, I don't need sleep, now would you please explain what you're both doing here? In the middle of the night?" Alex whispered back as he motioned to Edward and back to Alice.
Alice smiled awkwardly as she finally told her reason.
"So, I know that you know about the mate thing and Edward really wanted to see Bella but I decided to accompany him here in case you decided that he should rather see the back of a tree trunk," Alice said as she motioned to Edward who was behind her.
Edward just stood there frozen as he didn't move or breathe.
Alex just looked at the two disco vampires.
His thoughts froze as he looked at the two until a second later when he finally responded.
"So you came here because you thought it was a good idea to let your brother come here and spy on my sister's sleep? Is what I'm hearing correct? Because it really isn't making a lot of sense in my head right now, Alice."
Alice maintained that awkward smile, though it seemed to twitch as she nodded wordlessly.
"Right, and you saw me punch him through a tree in your visions, right?" Alex asked Alice, who nodded once more.
"Ok, first of all, there is no way I'm allowing it to happen, Edward. You need to know your limits and watching someone sleep is way over the line. You can just talk to her in the morning at school." Alex said to Edward and then turned to Alice.
'How the hell was she able to see me in her visions if I'm another race entirely? She should only be able to see people who had at one point shared the same race as her, so humans and cold ones only. This was also the reason she couldn't see Bella's future when she went to La Push' Alex thought as he stared at Alice for a moment.
"You're able to see me in your visions?" Alex decided that the best way to find out was to ask and so he did just that.
Alice stood still for a moment and then shook her head.
"No, I just saw Edward at your house, or at least near your house with about ten trees broken around him. And so I simply deducted that the only one capable of that was you." Alice said as she faced Alex who nodded and then froze once more.
"Your vision doesn't allow you to see me, so how were you able to know about the event where Bella gets stabbed?" Alex asked once more.
Alice just shrugged her shoulders and replied to him.
"I just read Edward's lips, he said your name so I figured the white mist killing people should be you," Alice said once more.

"Right, the white mist killing people," Alex mumbled as he put up a twitching smile.
Alice nodded and just stared at him.
"Well what are you waiting for, get out of here, shoo shoo," Alex said as he looked at the two Cullen vampires.
Edward finally spoke up since he had come here.
"I wanted to see Bella one last time as I will try to stay away from her from tomorrow," Edward said as he came closer to Alex.
Alex looked at the emo disco ball and shook his head.
"Doesn't matter Edward, if you want to say goodbye then you can tell that to her face and not when she's asleep in her own bed. Her room should be a safe place for her. Not somewhere where she doesn't feel safe and you spying on her most definitely break that." Alex said as he looked at Edward, his eyes slowly started changing colors.
"And I'm not joking around here Edward, if you try anything I'll make sure that Alice's vision becomes true, got that?" Alex said as his eyes fully became a shining crimson color.
The aura that had been almost nonexistent around Alex turned frightening as if you were looking at some kind of starved beast ready to be released from its chains and tear you apart.
Alice quickly held up her hands and interrupted the two.
"All right let's calm down you guys, how about Edward and I just go back?" Alice said as she got up on her feet and went to grab Edward's hand and head away.
Grabbing his hand however Alice noticed that Edward wasn't moving, he was stuck in place as he looked directly at Alex.
*Sigh*
"Don't do this Edward, I'll tell Carlisle and he will not be happy" Alice said as she looked up at her brother's face.
Edward stood still for a few more moments and then faced Alice and nodded.
Turning around, he started walking away, his steps as quiet as those of a cat.
Alex stared at them for a few moments and then turned his head around to look at the sky once more.
'Why the hell did that bastard even get so stuck up on seeing Bella? Is the mate bond really that strong? If it is then it's just dumb to try and go against it and for a whole month at that, until Bella is in danger once again in Seattle.' Alex thought as he sat there for hours.
The sky started brightening up once more when Alex got up on his feet headed to his window and went inside his room.
'I would have supported them, but why does Edward have to be a damn bipolar piece of shit through the entire early story.' Alex thought as he sat on his bed.
'I can use this month when nothing happens to go, and I can look around the reservation and meet up with the shapeshifters. The problem is if they can smell that I'm a vampire or not. Jacob hasn't undergone the transformation yet, so that could explain how he didn't smell me, but Sam should have already gone through it, and maybe some of the other guys in the pack as well.' Alex continued to think about whether he should risk it and go to La Push or scrap the idea.
"Fuck it, ill just go. If they try anything, then I'll just beat them up. Im done being so goddamn careful around others who are also supernaturals." Alex mumbled.
Alex laid down on the bed and tried to get a wink of sleep, it was however futile just as every other attempt he had made.
Seconds ticked, Hours passed, Days and Weeks followed.
Alex had gone to school, come back, and followed a regular routine of going to the forest to get better control over his full transformation.
At school, Alex found himself pissed at the fact that Bella was now in a shit mood almost all the time.
Edward was in the same case as her; however, the stubborn disco ball, as Alex had nicknamed him, simply refused to break this self-induced isolation of his.
Alex also talked with the other Cullens, mainly with Alice, Jasper, and Emmet though the meetings had gone down as well.
At most, he would see them when he had class with them but otherwise, ever since the night on top of the roof, a small distance seemed to have been formed between them.
Alex thought it was because of Edward, who seems to hate his guts nowadays.
Driving down the road in the old truck, Alex thought to himself.
'Why the hell is he even pissed at me when I only refused his weird stalkerish behavior? The fucker even tried to do it more than once, and I only stopped him and didn't even kick his ass,' Alex thought as he took a right turn.
'It's already been two weeks since the first time. At least he only tried it two more times, though it feels weird to say that three attempted stalking incidents aren't a lot.' Alex thought as he looked around the road.
He was currently heading to the Quileute Reservation.
'I messaged Jacob earlier and he sounded like the happiest dog I've ever heard when he found out I wanted to visit, Let's just hope this small trip doesn't end up turning sour.' Alex thought as he started slowing down the truck.
In front of him were some metal gates that looked as if they had been made from metal scraps if Alex had to be honest.
'Quileute Reservation, ' Alex read the small sign next to the gate.
'It's time I finally saw some wolves, huh.' Alex thought.

The last chapter of the day, thank you all for the continued support and I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
I decided to do a time skip as it really isn't that interesting to read about Alex going to school and talking with Mike and Jessica and I feel like it was better to further his relationship with Alice in more interesting situations.
I will however be doing this small visit to the reservation before we get back onto the plot, I felt like it would be interesting to write about.
Once more, thanks for all the support. See you all tomorrow.
