Bab 38: Vs Boss!

It seems that none of the members of this Elf unit have contracts with spirits. Given their attractiveness and likely popularity, one would expect more, but only Sebas has one. It's possible that players tried to recruit them, but the NPCs refused. The reason for this is unclear. They might explain if I asked, but conversations are a hassle…

"F-finally... we made it..."

After hours of fighting, we finally reached the lowest level of the catacombs. An endless swarm of undead kept appearing, forcing us to take breaks and resupply, which delayed us significantly.

We were met by a vast throne room. The room had deteriorated over the years, and a zombie wearing a crown sat on the throne. Sebas, who had been standing by, stepped forward with a katana in hand.

"How dare you, corpse. That throne... It might be acceptable if you were human, but it is not for a mere undead to sit upon."

"...Heh."

"What? What is it?"
