Bab 12: Igris
Ten months passed in the blink of an eye, and I found myself at Sequence 5 of my original pathway and Sequence 6 of the White Tower Pathway. My priority was getting the Sequence 5 potion of the White Tower pathway, which is Mysticism Magister.
When I get this potion, I can try making a myriad of spells and recreate some anime moves that I watched. Aside from my cooperation with Sharon, I mostly lay low.
Why risk my life when I can just lay low and get stronger?
I remember the Tarot Club should have been born around this time, but I can't seem to grasp the exact moment.
Although my life was mostly monotonous during this period, there were still some incredible things that happened to me last week.

**Last week.**
After successfully advancing to Sequence 5 of my original pathway, I directly entered the Chamber of Stars to see the difference. The infinite space seemed to expand beyond the horizon, and the stars shone more brightly.
Despite the dazzling light that the stars emitted, it was not blinding but gave a more tranquil effect.

I fell into deep contemplation as I stared at the message. I already had a basic knowledge of each pathway and had a rough idea of how it would develop, considering I was in Sequence 5 now.
For the Star-Shearer Pathway, it gave the user the power to use the power of the stars as a sword. The more the user increased their sequence, the more they could cut. For example, at low sequences, the user might cut a person or an object, but at higher sequences, the user could use the sword to cut more complicated things like fate or presence.
The Changing Star Pathway encompasses abilities that intertwine with the Strings of Destiny. People who take this pathway are freed from the bonds of fate, have the power to thwart prophecies and revelations, are extraordinarily fortunate, are skilled at controlling urges, and have enhanced regeneration capabilities. Beyonders of this pathway achieve increased control over fate, luck, and destiny at higher sequences. They also can directly alter fate's course and mold it to suit their wishes.
Nebula Beyonders have access to the Abyss's characteristics, the cosmos's unfavorable aspects, and various types of corruption. They can control flesh, blood, and shadows. In a sense, it was similar to the Hanged Man Pathway. Nebula Beyonders at higher sequences can "pull the stars" down to Earth and directly corrupt individuals in different ways. They can manipulate both the Spirit World and souls.
As for the system pathway, it gave the user the power to control and alter many things. If other Beyonders' powers can evade fate, the system can directly rewrite fate itself. As for the combative power, it gives me power similar to 'Trafalgar D. Water Law' from One Piece. This is a glimpse of what power I can draw from my original pathway.
After some serious reconsideration, I decided to choose Igris out of the remaining three. Out of the three angels, Igris was the strongest combatant. I could use him to kill the people I didn't like in the future. Most importantly, Igris was the coolest of all the angels. I should modify him to look like a certain red commander from my previous life.
"I choose Igris," I muttered inwardly.
As I said that, a star across the chamber seemed to be liberated, and a figure came crashing down.
Thus, Igris suddenly appeared before my eyes.
His body seemed to be made of stars, his step was neither loud nor silent, like that of a disciplined soldier. His gaze was fierce but gentle. More importantly, his entire being screamed off the sword. His aura alone seemed capable of cutting even the highest sky.
Thud, thud, his steps echoed amidst my evaluation.
As he arrived in front of me, "Igris, the sword of the star, greets the lord," his voice sounded firm but surprisingly pleasant.
I merely nodded before asking, "Igris, may I change your appearance?"
After all, Igris was naked right now, but unlike humans, his body was made of stars.
"Everything as the lord wishes," Igris said while bowing.
His name, his demeanor, and his dedication reminded me of certain characters that I loved in the past.
Having his permission, I picked the red-colored star in the chamber and used that star as Igris's armor and helmet. His body shape changed corresponding to the armor that I shaped. With his power to manifest a sword, I could finally bring my favorite character to life at this moment.
Exiting the chamber with Igris, I saw Uriel trying to solve the Rubik's cube in my room. Uriel, sensing my presence, glanced her head toward me.
Her gaze lingered toward Igris for a moment. "You're here," her voice sounded as pleasant as usual before she continued to solve the Rubik's cube.
Igris, hearing that, just nodded his head and continued to stay behind like a stone. It seemed Uriel's existence didn't even manage to pique his interest.
"Igris, can you be my messenger?" I expressed myself.
"It is my honor to be chosen by you, my lord," Igris replied.
This can allow me to contact Sharon more freely for her to buy me Sequence 5 potions. Moreover, it was indeed time for me to have a messenger. Igris can use the sword to cut the fabric of this world and enter the Spirit World easily. Igris's appearance is also one of the biggest reasons I chose him. A messenger of a Beyonder often represents the lord, after all.
As I thought this issue was settled, a voice suddenly echoed, "My lord, I can do better than him as your messenger."
Surprisingly, Uriel seemed to be dissatisfied with my decision to pick Igris as my messenger.
