Bab 313: Chapter 313: Iconic Scene
In the classroom.
Naruto's sudden kneel left everyone around stunned, unsure of what he was trying to do.
However, due to Naruto's "little prince" status, no one laughed at him.
'Is Naruto proposing to Sasuke?'
'The entangled story of Ashura and Indra has finally passed from the previous generation of Hashirama and Madara to this one, hasn't it?'
Seeing Naruto kneel in front of Sasuke, Shishou couldn't help but think mischievously.
'What is this guy doing?'
Sasuke crossed his fingers in front of his face, looking coldly at the kneeling Naruto.
"Ahem."
Naruto awkwardly got up from the ground, coughed, and glared at Sasuke with displeasure.
"Tch!"
Seeing Naruto's actions, Sasuke also turned his head in disdain, showing extreme contempt.
To Sasuke, Naruto was just a dead last, not worth his attention.
Sasuke's sneer deeply stung Naruto.
Over the past six years, Shishou had beaten Sasuke countless times, and Sasuke, in turn, had beaten Naruto just as often, making Naruto a laughingstock in front of Sakura each time.
So, Naruto jumped onto the desk in front of Sasuke, glaring at him, ready to spout harsh words.
Seeing this scene, Shishou was intrigued.

Everyone: "..."
Seeing this iconic moment, Shishou chuckled to himself, thinking, 'This is what you call "sealed with a kiss."'
"Ugh... ugh... blegh..."
Naruto and Sasuke, their lips separating, each retched in disgust.
Ino and Sakura, their mouths twitching, couldn't bring themselves to look directly at Naruto and Sasuke anymore.
Ino even felt like giving each of them a purple flower.
In the Hokage's office.
Kakashi, Asuma Sarutobi, Kurenai Yuhi, and other Jonin instructors stood behind the Third Hokage, watching the crystal ball displaying Naruto and Sasuke's kiss. They were all stunned.
The old man, Hiruzen Sarutobi, was quite mischievous, zooming in to show a close-up of the kiss between Naruto and Sasuke.
This left everyone around speechless once again.
Kakashi sighed, feeling a headache coming on.
According to the team arrangements, both Sasuke and Naruto would be under his guidance in the future.
Tsunade, standing nearby, twitched her eye and found it hard to watch.
Originally, she hadn't planned to watch the team assignment ceremony for Naruto and the others, but she couldn't refuse Kushina's request.
On Tsunade's shoulder sat a small Katsuyu, sharing its vision with Kushina and the others to show the team assignments.
In the mansion at Fire Source City.
In Uchiha Mikoto's courtyard.
A small Katsuyu's eyes glowed, projecting the images seen by Tsunade through the crystal ball.
Kushina, Uchiha Mikoto, and Hyuga Rimei were all dumbfounded at the sight of Naruto and Sasuke kissing.
Naruto and Sasuke's actions left Mikoto and Kushina particularly shocked.
Pakura, watching, couldn't help but sneak glances at the two women.
To Pakura, the closeness between Mikoto and Kushina seemed to go beyond typical friendship.
Sitting beside Pakura, Anko observed the scene, clicking her tongue in amazement. "Wow, Konoha's really gotten this open-minded, huh?"
"Shut up!"
Mikoto and Kushina simultaneously glared at Anko.
The idea of their own sons being gay was something they could never accept.
Anko just shrugged and continued watching. She couldn't help it since she wasn't strong enough to oppose them.

In the classroom.
Hinata stole a glance at Shishou.
Although Shishou had been discreet, she had seen what he did.
Noticing Hinata's gaze, Shishou gestured for her to keep quiet.
Hinata nodded, withdrawing her gaze, feeling a surge of happiness.
This made her feel as if she shared a secret with Shishou, making their relationship seem even closer.
Because of this iconic moment, Naruto and Sasuke glared at each other, seething with rage.
Their staredown continued until Iruka arrived.
"Quiet, everyone."
Iruka stood at the podium, surveying the students, and said, "From now on, you are Genin. Until you can work independently, you will follow your assigned Jonin instructors to continue your training and complete missions."
"Next, we'll start the team assignments. Those whose names are called together will be teammates from now on."
"Team 1..."
Hearing that the team assignments were starting, both Ino and Hinata clenched their fists, feeling a bit nervous.
Even though Ino knew that the Ino-Shika-Cho formation wouldn't be split up, she still held a glimmer of hope.
Hinata, on the other hand, was even more nervous because she had a higher chance of being teamed up with Shishou.
Shishou propped his head on his hand, looking bored as he watched the scene.
According to his plan, once the team assignments were done, he would immediately apply for promotion to Chunin or Special Jonin and leave the three-man team.
It didn't matter to him who he was teamed up with.
"Team 7..."
Hearing the familiar team name, Shishou perked up.
Iruka glanced at the names on the list and continued, "Team 7, Uchiha Sasuke, Uzumaki Naruto..."
Hearing Iruka's announcement, the class burst into laughter, recalling the earlier incident between Naruto and Sasuke.
Naruto and Sasuke both twitched their mouths, looking utterly miserable.
Puzzled by the students' reactions, Iruka continued, "And, Hyuga Hinata."
Hearing her name, Hinata froze, unable to hide her disappointment.
Similarly, many girls who liked Sasuke were also disappointed.
"We did it."
Back at the mansion, Mikoto, Kushina, and Hyuga Rimei exchanged pleased looks.
Placing Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata in the same team and assigning Kakashi, an elite Jonin, as their instructor was their idea.
This idea had been relayed to Tsunade through Kushina, and Tsunade, the future Fifth Hokage, had made the arrangements.
This way, Sasuke, Naruto, and Hinata would be safe, and the three women could take turns protecting them from the shadows if necessary.
In the classroom.
The team assignments continued.
After announcing Team 7, Iruka looked at the names for Team 8 and said, "Team 8, Aburame Shishou..."
