Ella finally gave up and stopped Mrs. Harris from trying to feed them.

Amanda pulled Ella aside and whispered, "Ella, when are you coming back to work at the company?"

Ella looked at her curiously. "Why? Elias and Dorian are still so little. How could I leave them?"

Ella planned to return to work once the twins were three years old and could attend preschool.

"I keep seeing Vivian at the office," Amanda said with obvious irritation. "Even though Mr. Nelson barely acknowledges her, she keeps begging him to give her a position."
