Mystery... in the anime, the character who possesses this ability is the leader of the Hermes Familia. This character can create many magical items, including the Hades Helmet which grants invisibility and flying boots. Publicly listed as a Level 2, he is actually Level 4, known by the title Perseus... Asfi Al Andromeda.
"There are fewer than five people in Orario who possess the Mystery ability. It is incredibly rare, and its effects are extremely powerful." Hestia explained in her gentle voice.
"This is an ability that can bring about miracles. To give a few examples, if a magic item creator has this ability, the items they produce are likely to have even more wondrous effects. If a blacksmith has this ability, they are more likely to forge legendary weapons. It's an ability that excels in creating miracles. My suggestion is to choose this one."
"But how should I choose?" Aiden mused, deep in thought.
Aiden found himself in a dilemma.
Hunter was the first to be ruled out. After all, he would be leaving this world soon and wouldn't have the chance to explore the dungeon further. This ability was only useful against monsters he had repeatedly faced, offering limited help. In reality, unlike in games, he didn't need to repeatedly defeat the same type of monster to gather specific materials, and such monsters wouldn't be very powerful.
If he chose Swordsman, it would indeed significantly enhance his swordsmanship, fitting well with his Sparda lineage. The Spardas, from the founder to the third generation Aiden, had primarily used swords as their main weapon.
The third option, Mystery, sounded like an ability that could increase his luck in his profession or allow him to break past his existing limits. As Hestia mentioned, it was an ability that could create miracles, though she also noted it was only a possibility.

So, should he combine this with the Swordsman ability, amplifying his proficiency in melee combat, or should he choose Mystery?
The decision was clear. Swordsmanship could always be honed through practice, especially with the inherent talent provided by Sparda bloodline.
"Hestia, I choose Mystery." Aiden declared, feeling a weight lifted off his shoulders.
"Great choice! I was leaning toward that ability too. People with this ability are highly sought after, not just in Orario but across the world. The gods are particularly keen on such individuals, so be careful not to reveal it, Aiden-kun." Hestia with a bright smile cautioned him.
Even though Mystery was evidently stronger than the other two options, Hestia didn't make the choice for Aiden. She provided her suggestion but let him decide. If it had been any other god, they might have chosen Mystery immediately without giving Aiden a chance to consider.
"Joining Hestia Familia was definitely the right choice." Aiden thought, reflecting on Hestia's advice likely meant to protect him from gods like Apollo.
"Alright, I'll start your level-up process now." Hestia pricked her finger with a fine needle.
"You know your ability values will reset to zero after leveling up, right?" Hestia asked again.
"Yes, I know." Aiden nodded, facing away from her.
As Hestia successfully completed the level-up, the system's electronic voice sounded in Aiden's mind.
[Congratulations, host, on completing the trial task. Since you chose to claim the reward early, there will be no additional rewards for this task.]
[Would you like to proceed with the mission and leave the beginner trial world? If you do not choose to proceed, the mission will automatically start in 20 days, and you will leave this world.]
"Do not start the mission. System, can you tell me in advance what the next mission world is? What is the mission?" Aiden asked in his mind.

The system's response was as emotionless as ever, leaving Aiden with no choice but to accept it.

However, the enhancement of development abilities is different. It requires constant use of the ability.
For instance, if you have Swordsman, you need to frequently use swords in combat to improve.
If you have Hunter, you need to often fight large groups of monsters to advance.
As for Aiden, who has gained Mystery, he will need to continually use this ability to enhance it... though he was still unsure how to utilize this power.
Actually, Aiden misunderstood the system's reminder. The true meaning behind the system's statement "You possess Sparda bloodline" was different.
