Amon looked at Daniel and smiled apologetically.

"Forgive me Daniel, but I have alcohol intolerance."

Daniel squinted his eyes a little but then, he relented.

"Oh. That's disappointing. And here I thought we could share some tales of our lives."

He set one glass in front of him and started to drink the other.

"You know Amon, I have taken quite a liking to you." He sipped his wine.

"I'm so glad to hear that Daniel!" Amon exclaimed in turn.

He chuckled and raised his glass.

"It's no big thing, we are quite similar after all." His voice started to layer.

It had started.

He was infusing his voice with miasma now and in a much higher density.

In the novel, it was described that the deeper and layered the voice got, the more miasma he was infusing.

Of course, he was doing it extremely carefully in order to not trigger the miasma sensors.
