Chapter 3
~The Following Day~
Last night we came to an agreement that I would use half of my earnings to buy a car and she tried to convince me to split the other half in between a college fun and savings but I convinced her that I could get a full ride to any college out there with my grades and we should use the other have to pay the mortgage and fix up the house.
When I woke up this morning the first thing I did was check the stocks that I sold yesterday to see if they stay the same or dropped back to where they were before I bought them.
Seeing this it made me realize how careful I had to be with this because if I just indiscriminately invested in different stocks I will eventually destroy the economy. I mean the other ten stocks that I had invested in are already up to 2 million with majority of that coming from a Medical Research company and decided if something is gonna break the economy it's better if it was something good like that so I sold my stock in the other companies giving me an extra 750,000 to spend.
After selling the stocks I did my morning routine and got dressed as today mom was dropping me off at a car dealership on her way to work and Scott wanted come along.
"Why are you coming again?" I asked Scott we walked into the dealership after being dropped off.
"As the older brother I felt my approval is need to make sure our first car is good enough." He said like there was nothing wrong with that statement.
"I'm sorry 'OUR' car I think you mean 'MY' car." I said in rebuttal to his statement and before he could reply.
"Tell you what I'll make you a deal if you get all A's in the next semester I'll buy you a car at the start of summer break." I said now that even if he's already and straight A student with the the starting on the 9th his grades will drop dramatically.
"Deal." He said walking out of the dealership as Stiles somehow pull in at the perfect time.
"Excuse me are you looking to buy?" A feminine voice said from behind me.
"Yes I am." I replied as I turned around to see a Middle aged woman with short brown hair standing next to me.
It was then that I that Golden Rule was the most OP thing GOD had gifted to me.
"Perfect if you would come with me I think I have the perfect car for you." You see when she said that I believed she was taking to the used car section but she brought me to a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1.
I remember in 2024 these cars in perfect condition went for anything between $87,000 to $600,000.
"I would like to say congratulations you are your our last customer of 2010 and for that we would like to offer you a deal on this car for 99% of the total price bring the out the door price to $2000." She said as confetti started to fall and music started to play.
"Congratulations!!!" Was yell by other customers who had walked in before and by the other car salesman as I was dragged in front of the car and a picture was taken of me, the saleswoman, and who I would assume was the owner of the dealership.
~Hour Later~
Find myself sitting in my new car think about Golden Rule even more than before, I mean I knew that Golden Rule made it so it's owner would always be rich but I didn't think it would always search for a way for its own to spend the least amount of money possible.
And the whole makes the owner stay rich thing is subjective as one may consider themselves to only be rich when they win a battle, find love, or even just staying alive after a battle and if it changes depending on the view then this may just be the strongest of the Perks and Boons given to me and the fact that he gave me something like this worries me.
After having that mental dilemma I drove home and made a mental list of thing that I can change that won't have the biggest effect on the timeline and I figured saving Laura and biting Scott are the two easiest as I could save Laura after Peter takes her spark but before he rips her apart or I can bite Scott before Peter bites him leading him to believe Scott is his beta.
But I still have 10 days before the plot begins I'll just use that time learning more about my power and spending time with my family.
~9 Days Later~
Today's the day before the plot start and I'm currently running through the woods in my wolf from to help clear my nerves. As I made it to the same ravine I found the first night I shifted and as I sat near the edge a coyote walked up next to me and flashed its cold blue eyes at me.
She had first approached me yesterday but I noticed her watching me on New Year's Day and ever since that I would see her in the distance anc she finally decided to approach me yesterday.
Today I decided to try and force her to change without having to roar at her. When I stood up and looked towards her I intently stared into her eyes as I called forth my aura which I found out to similar to the one from Noblesse as it effects completely rely on my will and intent.
I used my aura to enhance my alpha presence and will before unleashing both of the onto her and I knew it worked when instead of a coyote laying in front of me it was a beautiful girl with wild unkept dark brown hair.
"Are you ok?" I asked as I shifted back into my human form and instead of answer what I got was her passing out.
