Bab 133: Ch-3 < Chaos dragon >

After the chaos subsided, Milim stood motionless, her gaze locked on the monstrous figure of the Chaos Dragon.

It was no longer her sibling in any meaningful way, not the dragon who had once flown by her side, but a creature twisted by the same rage and despair that had consumed her when she lost control. The sight broke her heart, and tears welled up in her eyes.

This was the last remnant of her family. Everyone else was gone. Now, even her sibling had become this... thing.

Milim knew what she had to do. With a heavy heart, she extended her hand toward the Chaos Dragon and construced a barrier and was ready to seal it away.

She knew that by sealing the dragon, she would sever the last tie she had to her former life. The weight of that realization crushed her spirit.

Her voice trembled as she muttered, "I'm sorry... but I can't let you suffer like this anymore."

Just as she was about to complete the seal, she felt a firm but gentle hand on her shoulder. It was Kevin. His presence radiated calmness, offering a comfort she hadn't felt in years.

"Wait a moment, Milim," Kevin said softly, his voice cutting through the storm of emotions inside her.

Milim looked at him, her eyes filled with a mixture of distrust and wary expression.

"You don't have to lose him," he reassured her. "I can help bring him back. Not just seal him away. I can restore him."

Milim's eyes widened, and a tear slipped down her cheek. "R-Really, Noda? Can you really do that?" she asked, her voice cracking as hope mixed with doubt.

"Yes. I can help you," kevin replied with confidence, locking eyes with her.

Guy Crimson, standing nearby, watched in silence. The usually composed and cold demon lord seemed to soften in the presence of Milim's vulnerability. Ramiris, still in her pixie form after the recent battle, fluttered around nervously, unsure of what was happening but trusting Kevin's calm demeanor.

Kevin flew in front of barrier, and extended his right hand toward the Chaos Dragon.

From his palm, a swirling vortex of dark black and violet energy emerged, crackling with raw power. It was a mix of his Authority of Star and Authority of Void, ancient powers capable of reshaping reality itself. The vortex expanded, wrapping itself around the Chaos Dragon's massive body, gently yet powerfully consuming it entirely.

Milim gasped, her heart pounding as she saw her sibling vanish. "Kevin... What are you doing?" she asked, her voice a mixture of fear and hope.

Kevin didn't answer immediately. He closed his eyes, focusing on his powers. The vortex began to shrink, compressing into a small sphere that glowed with a faint, mysterious light. Then, using his Authority of Sentience and Reason, Kevin began constructing a soul body—a vessel to hold Gaia's nuclear core, the very essence of Milim's sibling.

When the process was complete, Kevin held out a glowing, translucent egg-like object. "Here. Your sibling," he said softly, extending it to Milim.

Milim's hands trembled as she took the egg. It pulsed gently in her grasp, and she could feel the life force within. "What... What is this?"

"This is your sibling, reborn as an egg. It's his essence, his core. Name him, and he will be born again." Kevin said.

Milim's heart surged with conflicting emotions—sorrow, hope, relief, and uncertainty. She held it close to her chest, tears streaming down her face, her voice barely a whisper. "I... I'll name you Gaia."

Tears continued to fall onto the egg's surface as Milim made a silent vow to protect him, to never let him fall into despair again. "Thank you," she whispered to Kevin, her voice raw with emotion. "I... I don't know how to thank you."

Kevin smiled softly, his expression kind. "You don't need to thank me, Milim. Just take care of him."

After the intensity of the battle had faded and emotions had settled, Guy Crimson invited everyone to his castle. "Let's take some time to relax," he suggested. "We need a proper discussion anyway."

Kevin smiled at the suggestion. "That sounds like a good idea."

Milim, still clutching the egg close to her chest, nodded quietly. She had been through an emotional storm and needed time to process everything. But she was grateful. Kevin had done something she never thought possible—he gave her a second chance with her family.

At Guy's sprawling ice palace in the Frost Continent, the atmosphere was relaxed but filled with anticipation. As they sat around a large table, sipping tea in the cold, grand halls, it felt almost surreal that such powerful beings—demon lords, warriors, and world-shaking entities—could sit together so casually.

Guy leaned back in his chair, a smirk playing on his lips. "You know, the humans are going to freak out if they ever hear about this. A gathering of demon lords—this is going to go down in history."

Ramiris, perched on a small cushion and lazily munching on sweets, chimed in, "We should call it something cool!..

Kevin chuckled, but his thoughts were elsewhere. He wasn't interested in the political machinations or the looming titles that others would put on them. His only focus was making sure the people he cared about—his lovers and those closest to him—grew stronger in both body and mind.

Milim, meanwhile, sat quietly at the table, absentmindedly sipping her tea while cradling Gaia's egg in her lap. She seemed lost in thought, but there was a sense of peace around her now, a calm that had been absent since Kevin arrived.

"We need to make sure it becomes a regular meeting. A council of demon lords to ensure the balance of the world stays in check." Guy continued..

Kevin looked up, giving Guy a knowing glance. "You're not fooling anyone, Guy. I know your purpose."

Guy grinned. "Maybe. But balance is still important, isn't it?"

Milim, still quiet, spoke up softly. "I don't care about councils or balance... I just want to be with Gaia now."

Kevin nodded, understanding her sentiment completely. "And you will be."

Ramiris, ever the enigmatic trickster, floated around the room, her eyes darting between the demon lords. She suddenly declared, "You know, with all of us here, we could do something amazing! I could build something great... or break something great!"

Kevin shook his head with a chuckle. "You'll probably break it, Ramiris."

As the tea meeting continued, it became clear that while each of the demon lords harbored their own ambitions and aspirations, they were bound together by a strange and unspoken understanding.

Kevin companions was in the domain of Velgrynd present in east near the kingdom of Silberia.
