Kevin and Veldanava had been brainstorming for days, plotting a grand prank that would simultaneously target both Velgrynd and Velzard. They had spent the entire morning setting it up, exchanging grins of anticipation.
"Ready?" Kevin whispered to Veldanava, who was holding back a laugh.
"Oh, absolutely," Veldanava replied, eyes glinting with mischief.
Velgrynd had just finished constructing a new door using spatial manipulation and had added to her quarters, a place where she could finally escape the chaos.
Little did she know, Kevin and Veldanava had rigged the door so that it triggered a hidden reservoir of ice-cold water with magic. The moment Velgrynd stepped in, the trap sprung.
A deluge of freezing water gushed out from above, completely drenching her from head to toe.
"What the—?!" Velgrynd shrieked, her voice filled with shock as she stood there, soaked. Her dragon flames instinctively flickered in an attempt to evaporate the water, but it was too much. Kevin added resistance to her which prevent her from unleashing her flames.
Kevin and Veldanava were barely able to contain their laughter as they watched from a distance. "Success!" Veldanava whispered between fits of chuckles.
Just then, Velzard entered the room, carrying a cup of tea. She took her seat, but within moments, there was a loud *crack*, and her chair gave way.
Velzard hit the ground hard, spilling her tea everywhere. She looked up in bewilderment, the shattered remains of her chair around her.
"What is this?!" she demanded, glaring at her brother.
Veldanava couldn't help but burst into laughter. "Oops! Must've been a weak chair!" he managed between fits of giggles, giving Kevin a sly look.
Velzard's eyes narrowed as she stood up, tea still dripping from her hands. "You're both dead," she growled.
Kevin, realizing they had pushed their luck, quickly grabbed Veldanava by the arm. "Run!" he shouted, and the two of them bolted for the exit, barely avoiding a barrage of ice shards and fiery dragon breath.
The mountain was a chaotic battlefield of flames and ice, with Kevin and Veldanava darting between blasts of fire and icy breath.
Velgrynd's fury erupted in the form of raging flames that scorched the ground, while Velzard's wrath manifested as ice that froze anything in its path.
"Maybe we went too far this time!" Kevin shouted, a grin on his face as he dodged another fiery explosion from Velgrynd.
"You think?" Veldanava replied, his laughter barely contained as he leapt out of the way of Velzard's icy blast. "But isn't it more fun this way?"
Kevin chuckled in agreement, knowing full well they had pushed the two sisters to their limits.
After all, flooding Velgrynd's room with ice water and breaking Velzard's favorite chair were bound to have consequences. But neither of them expected their wrath to be quite so… explosive.
"Get back here, you two!" Velgrynd bellowed, her flames lighting up the sky as she chased after them. "You're going to pay for that!"
Velzard, with her icy wings spread wide, was right behind her. "I'll freeze them both solid! No one messes with my tea time!"
Kevin and Veldanava shared a glance, their smiles widening as they zigzagged through the forest, the elements clashing behind them.
The entire mountain seemed to react to the chaos, sections of it frozen solid while others burned with intense heat. But, despite the imminent danger, they couldn't stop laughing.
Suddenly, their playful chase was interrupted as they noticed a figure approaching in the distance—a man with fiery red hair and blood-red eyes, walking calmly toward the mountain.
Beside him were two women dressed in maid outfits—one with blue hair and the other with green. Their eyes scanned the chaos with a mixture of awe and apprehension.
"Guy-sama," the green-haired maid said cautiously. "The amount of magicules here is vast."
The blue-haired maid nodded, her expression tense.
"Those auras are overwhelming. A single attack of that magnitude could easily wipe me out."
Guy, however, remained unfazed. "We're about to meet a god," he said with a excited look.
As Guy and his maids approached, the battle between the two sisters and their prankster brothers paused.
Velgrynd and Velzard landed beside Kevin and Veldanava, their anger momentarily forgotten as they sensed the powerful presence.
Guy stood confidently before them, his piercing gaze sweeping over the four of them. "Quite the training method you've got going here," he remarked, amusement lacing his voice.
Velgrynd, her flames still flickering around her, crossed her arms. "Training method? More like payback," she muttered.
Velzard sighed, her icy breath misting in the air. "They deserved it," she added, giving Kevin and Veldanava a pointed look.
Guy chuckled, clearly intrigued.
"So, why are you here?" Veldanava asked, stepping forward with a curious tilt of his head.
Guy's smirk widened as he met Veldanava's gaze. "I'm here to challenge you," he declared boldly. "Show me your strength, if you truly are a god."
Velzard's eyes flared with anger, her wings spreading wide as frost crackled in the air around her. "You dare challenge my brother?" she growled, her voice sharp as ice. "I should freeze you where you stand!"
Kevin placed a hand on Velzard's shoulder, his touch gentle as he tried to calm her. Let him," he said softly. "He's serious about this, and Veldanava seems to be enjoying the challenge."
Veldanava chuckled, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Very well," he said, stepping forward. "Let's see what you've got."
The battle that followed was intense, with Guy unleashing everything he had. His Napalm Palm, Calamity Claw, and nuclear magic tore through the landscape, each attack more powerful than the last.
But no matter how hard Guy fought, Veldanava remained untouchable, effortlessly deflecting every blow.
"You'll have to do better than that," Veldanava said, his voice light as if he were barely trying.
Guy gritted his teeth, frustration mounting as he realized he couldn't land a single hit. In the end, the battle was completely one-sided.
Guy was left panting on the ground, utterly defeated, his pride in tatters.
"Kill me," Guy said, his voice steady despite his exhaustion. "I am satisfied knowing there is a higher power in this world. I've lost, but I've gained a new understanding." His pride didn't let him becoming his servant.
Veldanava, however, simply laughed. "No, I won't kill you," he said with a smile. "Instead, I offer you a choice."
Guy raised an eyebrow, intrigued despite himself. "A choice?"
You see the way humans are advancing, In around thousand years , they might wipe themselves out.
"Become a mediator , a demon lord ," Veldanava explained. "You can roam the world as you wish, or set up your base and reign. Keep mankind in check, show them that there's a force they can't defeat. It will remind them to never grow too prideful."
The word **pride** seemed to resonate with Guy, and he smirked despite his defeat.
"Pride, huh? Yeah, I can do that. I'll reign as a Demon Lord, a force feared by mankind. As long as they know there's a threat greater than themselves, they won't have time to fight each other."
Veldanava nodded, satisfied. "Good. I'm counting on you, Guy."
Something changed in guy and he awakened unique skill " Pride ".
Later that evening, after the battle had settled, Guy decided to stay at Veldanava's home for a while.
He introduced himself to Velgrynd, Velzard, and Kevin. Misery and Rain, Guy's maids, stood behind him, watching the interaction with a mix of curiosity and unease.
"So, you're a True Dragon too?" Guy asked Kevin, raising an eyebrow as he looked the younger man up and down.
Kevin shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "Not quite. I'm just a half-human."
Guy's eyes sparkled with amusement as he stepped closer, his tone turning playful.
"Interesting. You've got quite the aura, though. Are you sure you're not hiding any true dragon blood?" he said, his gaze lingering on Kevin a little too long for Velgrynd and Velzard's liking.
Velgrynd's flames flickered dangerously, and Velzard's icy breath frosted the air around her. They did **not** appreciate the way Guy was flirting with Kevin, even if it was all in jest.
Misery and Rain, sensing the rising tension, exchanged nervous glances behind their master.
"Why does guy sama doing this?" Rain muttered under her breath, her blue eyes darting between the two dragons and their brother.
"Guy sama really should learn to read the room," Misery agreed, though she couldn't help but continue happily munching on the food Kevin had prepared for them earlier.
As the evening wore on, the initial tension between them all began to ease, thanks in large part to Veldanava's calming presence and Kevin's relaxed demeanor.
Even Guy's maids, Misery and Rain, found themselves enjoying the meal despite the strange atmosphere. Rain, usually a little spoiled, was clearly enjoying the food, while misery ate with her usual graceful manners.
Guy, however, was not done with his playful antics, occasionally sending flirty glances Kevin's way, much to the annoyance of Velgrynd and Velzard.
