Bab 65: Ch-65 < deepest region of quantum sea>
Before Kevin stood a towering figure, her presence so overwhelming that it seemed to distort the very fabric of the space around her.
Kevin couldn't help but feel a slight chill run down his spine, but his expression remained calm, eyes narrowing as he took in every detail of his opponent.
She was unlike anything he had faced before.
An adult-presenting woman of average height, she had long, greyish-brown hair, her bangs partially covering her magenta-colored eyes, which were unnervingly intense, their yellow pupils shining with an otherworldly light.
Kevin's thoughts raced as he recognized her. Isn't she... SA? He couldn't afford to let his guard down against her. " This women is ancient."
"You've come far," SA said, her voice a haunting melody that echoed through the void. "But in this realm, all things are devoured by the abyss. Even light cannot escape."
Kevin tightened his grip on his Divine Key, his heart rate slowing as he entered a focused state.
"Who are you?" he asked, though he already knew the answer. He needed to hear it from her lips, to confirm what his instincts were telling him.
SA smiled, a cold, cruel smile that sent a shiver down Kevin's spine. "I am the Abyss of the Sea of Quanta. I have watched you, Kevin Kaslana. Your power intrigues me. You can wield Finality but... It is only a fragment, a mere shadow of the true power."
"Is this really her thinking. I might be stronger than canon Kevin if you don't include his deliverance form". Kevin thought.
He kept his calmness, his expression unreadable. "And what do you want with me?"
"I want your power," SA replied, her voice dripping with dark intent. "I want to consume it, to make it my own. You will be my sustenance, and with your strength, I will rise beyond the Sea of Quanta to claim all realities."
"Her reason is noble but she also behave like cacoon of Finality". Kevin remember her story.
Kevin's smirk was small but unmistakable, a spark of defiance in his eyes. "You'll find me hard to digest."
The abyss around them seemed to tremble as SA's smile faded, replaced by a look of cold determination. "We shall see."
Without another word, SA extended her arm toward Kevin. The shadows around her writhed and coiled like living entities, forming massive, spear-like tendrils that shot forward with blinding speed, aiming to pierce Kevin from all sides.
Kevin dodged the attack with lightning-fast reflexes, his Divine Key transforming into a spear infused with blazing heat .
With a swift motion, he sliced through the incoming tendrils, the power of his weapon severing them as they disintegrated into nothingness.
Is she testing me!?, Kevin thought as he deflected another series of tendrils. She's powerful, but she hasn't fully shown her hand yet.
SA was relentless. The tendrils reformed almost immediately, attacking from different angles, forcing Kevin to stay on the move.
Kevin soon noticed how the very ground beneath him warped and shifted, creating obstacles and traps.
Every step he took was a calculated move, using his Void Authority to stabilize his footing and his Mauve Eyes to predict SA's next strike.
"You are strong, Kevin Kaslana," SA's voice echoed, her tone a mix of admiration and condescension. "But strength alone will not save you. Here, in my domain, I am the absolute."
She waved her hand, and a massive wave of pure, condensed darkness surged toward Kevin, a manifestation of the Sea of Quanta's raw energy. The sheer force of it threatened to crush him under its weight.
Kevin's instincts kicked in as he raised his Divine Key, channeling his ice and deceleration.
A radiant barrier formed around him, clashing head-on with the wave. The collision sent shockwaves rippling through the abyss, the impact resonating in Kevin's body.
I can't hold back, he thought, pushing against the wave and broke the seal which restrict his Finality gem. As the Seal broke Kevin iris turn purple.
With a burst of energy, he shattered the darkness, dispersing it into the void. Not wasting a moment, Kevin launched himself at SA, his spear aimed directly at her heart.
SA's eyes widened in surprise, but she quickly shifted her form, narrowly evading the strike. However, Kevin's spear grazed her side, the power of Finality searing through her ethereal body.
SA hissed in pain, her form flickering as she retreated. "...You have only scratched the surface."
Kevin didn't relent. He pressed the attack, utilizing his instantaneous movement to close the distance between them instantly. His movements were precise, his strikes deadly, as he aimed to dismantle SA's defenses piece by piece.
But SA's form dispersed into a cloud of darkness that surrounded him. The shadows closed in, tightening around Kevin like a vise, threatening to suffocate him, to drown him in despair.
But Kevin wasn't about to be overwhelmed. With a roar, he unleashed a burst of energy, dispelling the darkness and forcing SA to reconstitute her form. The two combatants stared each other down, both aware that the battle was far from over.
"You fight well," SA said, her voice filled with a mix of admiration and malice. "But the abyss is eternal. You will tire, and when you do, I will consume you."
Kevin's eyes narrowed, a fire burning within them. "Abyss?" He laughed, his voice tinged with defiance.
"What's so funny?" SA demanded, her irritation clear.
"Your power is not comparable to the abyss," Kevin said, his voice low and sharp. "Stop adding such grand titles to your name."
A blinding light erupted from Kevin, catching SA off guard. As she tried to recover, she found herself unable to track Kevin's movements.
He had activated his Time Acceleration, moving faster than light itself.
Before SA could react, Kevin struck her with a powerful blow, knocking her off balance and sending her crashing to the ground.
Did I just lose? SA thought, her body trembling with rage. Her aura intensified, her form expanding into a colossal size. Dark tendrils writhed around her, and her eyes glowed with an unsettling intensity. Her wings, a twisted fusion of feathers and energy, spread wide, casting an ominous shadow over the battlefield.
She let out a deafening roar, unleashing a shockwave that sent Kevin skidding back, but he held his ground.
SA summoned rifts in space that attempted to tear Kevin apart, but he quickly invoked his Void Authority, teleporting away from the rifts while simultaneously sending a barrage of ice, earth, blood, and iron spikes through the openings.
The spikes pierced SA's form, but only the ice managed to penetrate deeply. SA scoffed, a cruel smile on her lips. "Did a bug just bite me?"
SA retaliated with shadowy tendrils, snaking through the air with unnatural speed. Kevin countered with a wall of flames, incinerating the tendrils before they could reach him.
He then shifted his Divine Key from a spear to a sword, flames erupting from the blade as he swung it at SA. The blinding light enveloped her, and a loud bang echoed through the quantum sea.
Even with her colossal size, SA was blown back, a large wound forming on her body. She hissed in pain, her voice laced with fury. "You insect..."
She increased the gravity around Kevin, attempting to crush him under its immense weight.
But Kevin responded by harnessing his MANTIS strength, wings forming on his back as his eyes changed, becoming sharp and reptilian. His aura became razor-sharp as he flared his energy, breaking free from the gravitational field with ease.
He launched himself at SA, landing a powerful punch on her head, followed by a devastating kick that knocked her upper body to the ground.
As she struggled to recover, Kevin condensed an intense amount of energy into his foot, stomping on SA's face with all his might.
A massive crater formed in the deepest layer of the Quantum Sea, SA screaming in agony as her form began to destabilize.
Kevin unleashed his deceleration and absorption abilities, wearing down SA's defenses and even absorbing some of her powers.
Is this her level. Didn't fan community compared her to an eldrich being. Or I'm fighting a clone. Kevin thought.
