Bab 79: Blood Of Zet

Dune awoke to the dim light filtering through the mouth of the cave. He let out a sigh of relief as he realized where he was, then stood up, feeling his now-healed injuries. "It's good to be a Neba user," he muttered to himself.

Atlas was already up, tending to meat roasting over a fire, while Lace watched with eager, happy eyes.

"Can I eat now?" Lace asked, reaching for the food.

Atlas swiftly knocked him back with the flat of his sword. "Not yet. It's not done."

Lace stumbled backward, rubbing his side. "Ouch."

Dune chuckled at the exchange, then moved to the cave's entrance. They were high up in the mountains, the world spread out below them.

Something caught his eye. "Where did this tree come from?" he asked, pointing to a massive tree in the distance.
