Bab 140: Disguise

Avery entered the restaurant with her customary grace and confidence after opening the door. She searched the partially occupied room but was unable to find the person she was looking for. She then moved to a vacant chair in the middle of the space. She was confident that the person she was meeting wouldn't have any trouble seeing her in the seating arrangement she had chosen.

She pulled back one of the colorful seats that surrounded an orange table and sat down. Her little white purse fell to the table. Subsequently, she gestured to a server tending to the table ahead of her. She needed to accomplish two goals at once. It wasn't illegal for her to eat what she wanted while meeting someone. She made the decision to occupy herself while she waited for the waiter to complete serving the table in front of her. She didn't have to hurry because she was free that day. She engaged herself by logging into her social media account.
