Ella swallowed when she saw his gloomy gaze, her knees shaking with fear.

"Are you implying that I should stop seeing you?" He asked coldly.

Ella had never been terrified of Stefan before, but the way he gazed at her made her legs weak and her voice dry as she refused to speak anything.

Stefan realized he had been acting difficult, but the way Ella was attempting to create a line between them was unacceptable, especially because he knew he was not to blame.

As he stared at her terrified expression, he dropped his guard and his eyes softened.

Stefan had a dark side that he rarely revealed, and seeing how just his glance scared her, he decided not to push any further and handle things calmly.

"I understand Priscilla said something to you, which is why you are acting differently. But it does not mean I will let you push me when I am not to blame." Stefan spoke as he reached to touch her face, and she flinched.
