Bab 98: Chapter 98: The Gathering of Three Gods, A Feast with Underlying Currents, Their Individual Thoughts

At this moment, as the barrier opened, the Heart of the Ocean was once again revealed. The casual conversation ceased, and two carriages entered the Heart of the Ocean as the Ocean Fairy emerged.
"Lord Hades!"
"Lord Zeus!"
"This way, please!"
Hades, accompanied by the Twin Gods, and Zeus, accompanied by Metis and Prometheus, proceeded to the depths of the Heart of the Ocean. Soon, the group reached the inner sanctum, each maintaining a composed demeanor.
Seated quietly on one of the three thrones within the Heart of the Ocean was Poseidon, waiting patiently. As Hades and Zeus arrived, Poseidon merely nodded slightly. Once the three gods were seated, the atmosphere became immediately tense and silent.

None of the three gods took the initiative to speak, silently savoring the drinks prepared by the Ocean Fairy. It seemed as though they were waiting for something, each deep in thought.
"..."
Hypnos and Thanatos observed the Heart of the Ocean quietly. Behind Zeus, Metis and Prometheus remained silent, aware of the great danger present.
In fact, it could be said that both Metis and Prometheus represented enormous danger. Metis was already a significant threat, but Prometheus was even more so!
Prometheus was renowned for his wisdom, often considered to have reached the level of a seer. Even the invincible Titan King himself had once remarked that Prometheus, solely through his intellect, could overthrow his reign.
Of course, such a statement from the Titan King was likely an exaggeration. If mere wisdom could achieve such feats, it would be laughable. It was an impossibility.
Let's be real! The Titan King was one of the most powerful beings in the Greek Pantheon, a fact that was indisputable. The notion that mere words could rival him was ludicrous. It was simply not a matter of being on the same level or even comparable.
In reality, this statement underscored Prometheus's exceptional nature. The Titan King's praise and admiration highlighted Prometheus's brilliance.
The Twin Gods, naturally, were well aware of Prometheus's reputation and understood just how formidable he was. The power and strength he possessed were no joke, and dealing with him carelessly would undoubtedly lead to significant trouble.
"Thanatos, how dangerous do you think Metis and Prometheus are together?"
"Very dangerous!"
Hypnos responded through divine thought, his tone heavy with seriousness. "Compared to Metis, Prometheus is the most dangerous one. As the leader of his four brothers, he represents a whole different level of threat."
Indeed!
Unlike other solitary gods, Prometheus was not alone.
Atlas, Prometheus, Menoetius, and Epimetheus.
These four brothers all followed Prometheus's lead. In other words, if Prometheus submitted to Zeus, his three brothers would follow suit. This, in itself, was already a significant threat.
Thanatos thought to himself, "Hypnos, dealing with Prometheus is incredibly difficult. He is highly trusted by Zeus. Besides, with our current means, we probably can't take down Prometheus."
"No worries!" Hypnos said calmly. "This is not a problem. In fact, we might not be able to handle Prometheus from the start. Our best bet is to focus on Metis."
"Metis..."
Thanatos cast a glance at the goddess. Metis was undoubtedly a dangerous deity. While she might not match Prometheus in certain respects, Metis was adept at manipulating people and situations, making her exceptionally dangerous.
Should Metis continue to support Zeus, it would pose significant future problems. While the Twin Gods pondered these matters, Prometheus and Metis were also considering the Twin Gods' origins.
"Hypnos."
"Thanatos."
Metis communicated silently with Prometheus. "These two are the offspring of the Ancient Gods. It seems those Ancient Gods hold Hades in high regard, having their progeny join his ranks."
"Not surprising." Prometheus maintained his smile. "Hades is extraordinarily capable. He was the firstborn and the first to break free from his seal. He had much more time compared to Zeus and Poseidon. What he has gained or achieved in that time is unknown to anyone."
Prometheus was well aware of this and knew exactly what this implied. The influence and backing Hades had received from the Ancient Gods made him significantly more formidable and dangerous.
Handling this situation improperly could lead to severe consequences. Prometheus had carefully studied Hades and understood the immense power and terror he embodied.
Moreover, with the support of the Ancient Gods, Hades's position became even more precarious and dangerous. If mishandled, the fallout could be severe, potentially unraveling all their plans and efforts.
