The new gods had completely occupied the surface world. This was not the end, however. Hypnos, Nereus, and Prometheus were busy and couldn't afford to rest, even though they had taken control of the surface world.
But!
The surface world differed from the heavens, the seas, and the underworld. Its situation was extremely chaotic. If mishandled, it could easily lead to resurgence, even though the Titans had been largely dealt with. Yet, the aftermath still held numerous issues. Who knew if a large number of Titans might suddenly reappear somewhere? It was essential to handle everything meticulously.
Moreover!
The situation on the surface world was too complex to be described briefly. The three gods dared not relax, needing to resolve everything in the shortest time possible.
After all!
The Titan War had reached its final and most critical stage. Any problems now would be disastrous.
"Hypnos," Prometheus asked, "how are your affairs progressing?"
"I've finished my tasks," Hypnos nodded and asked, "Nereus, what about yours?"
"All done," Nereus nodded as well.
The three gods had spent thousands of years stabilizing everything. The surface world was simply too vast. They had marched north and south with their subordinate gods, fighting countless battles and becoming extremely tired.
But!
Indeed, they had managed to settle everything that needed to be settled and found everything that needed to be found. Now, the surface world posed no further problems.
This was enough.
In the towering temple of the surface world, the three god-kings had returned.
Hades, Poseidon, Zeus.
The three gods sat on their thrones, quietly waiting for the return of Hypnos, Nereus, and Prometheus.
This time!
The temple was empty, with no other gods present. Only the three gods, wearing their divine robes, sat on their thrones.
Hades sat normally, calmly, like a statue.
Poseidon sat quietly with his eyes closed, as calm as eternal ice.
Zeus propped his head slightly, sitting on his throne with an air of dominance. However, to his two elder brothers, he merely looked like a second-rate ruffian.
"Lord Hades!"
"Lord Poseidon!"
"Lord Zeus!"
At this moment, Hypnos, Nereus, and Prometheus entered the temple, greeting each other respectfully. The three gods bowed slightly and then stood by the sides of the three god-kings.
Zeus glanced at Prometheus with different thoughts in mind, calmly saying, "Is everything on the surface world resolved?"
"Lord Zeus," Prometheus replied respectfully, "everything is settled."
Hypnos and Nereus remained silent. At this moment, Prometheus felt helpless. He knew that the matter with Mnemosyne had created a rift between him and Lord Zeus.
This was inevitable. The situation with Mnemosyne was too shocking, especially since it had come from Hades.
Otherwise!
There would have been no need for further inquiries, and absolute trust would have been maintained.
"I understand."
Zeus nodded indifferently and then turned his head, saying, "Hades, Poseidon, it's time to begin."
"Alright."
"Agreed."
Hades and Poseidon stood up, and Zeus did the same. Without any further words, the three god-kings left the temple. As they stepped out, the temple grew even more magnificent, and their thrones turned into three statues representing the three god-kings.
Next!
It was time for the final battle of the Titan War. The three god-kings were about to face their supreme and invincible father.
The leader of the Twelve Titan Gods: Titan King Kronos!
Mount Othrys!
The divine mountain where the Twelve Titan Gods resided. Although it was a mountain, its internal space was incomparable, akin to a world of its own.
As the second-generation god-king, Kronos was gifted with the Divine Palace and the Labyrinth of Time at his birth, a gift from the world itself.
Mount Othrys was a special mountain, containing a vast world within it, surpassing the heavens and the underworld in size, second only to the sea and the surface world.
This was why Kronos had chosen Mount Othrys over any of the four realms.
It was an exceptionally unique mountain.
At this moment!
The three god-kings had arrived at the foot of Mount Othrys, quietly gazing at it, seemingly lost in thought.
Clearly!
The three god-kings were filled with a sense of sentiment at this moment.
Step by step, they had finally arrived here, at the foot of Mount Othrys. One more step up, and they would reach the end. If they made it to the top...
The three god-kings thought about the future and then returned to the present. Although the divine war had reached its final step, everyone knew that this last step was the most crucial, the most challenging, and the most unpredictable.
No one could foresee the outcome of facing the invincible Titan King. But! No matter what, since they had reached this point...
Then!
Retreating was not an option. No matter what, they had to continue down this path.
"Three Lords," Prometheus spoke softly, "there are three paths to the summit of Mount Othrys. Normally, only one path would be open, but now all three are sealed. So..."
As a third-generation god, Prometheus had been praised by Kronos and had naturally been to Mount Othrys, understanding its structure.
However!
As Prometheus finished speaking, he fell silent. With all three paths sealed, the only way forward was to fight their way up. Other methods were meaningless!
