Lily glanced at Ethan, who was still sitting in his seat. "Why aren't you going?"

"Why should I go?"

"He's only five. You're going to let him go to the bathroom alone?" Lily frowned.

"He's five already! Why can't he go by himself?" Ethan responded, confused. At five, a kid should be able to handle going to the bathroom independently, correct?

"You still need to keep an eye on him. If you're not going, I will." Lily's tone was cold as she stood up from the table.

Ethan immediately pushed her back into her seat, snapping, "Do you want to enter the men's bathroom?! Stay here! I'll be back!"

Damn it.

Why on earth was he stuck taking a five-year-old to KFC?

And now he had to take a five-year-old to the bathroom? What kind of nonsense was this?
