Bab 68: Owl believe it when I see it

It was a far from simple spell, and yet he casted it with ease.

It had been brewing in his mind and analyzed to maticulus scrutiny.

Within hours the intricate weave of threaded mana strands were complete before him.

In his meditative state, he concentrated on his core to tie it to his soul. A tether that would act as an anchor to create the illusory magic.

A series of clicks later… it happened.

He felt the slight flicker of energy float around his face and other features.

A shallow breath escaped his lips and he opened his eyes to embrace reality once again.

Slowly, he stood up from where he had been sitting in concentration for hours and walked over to the puddle to analyze his work.

The colors were there. The texture of human flesh. The pink in his cheeks. The brown of his hair. It was complete.

A smile grew on his new face and all the pent up anxiety of anticipating this moment finally flooded out of his system.
