Clark tightened his grip on his sword, standing resolutely with his team.

'Just one more target, and my mission will be complete. It wasn't easy infiltrating this place,' he thought, focusing intensely to regain his composure and center himself.

'You better double the pay.'

<Of course, that's if you actually survive,> came the distorted voice of his employer in his head.

'I already eliminated the main threat, that Ruthar. He was a formidable opponent. What do you suggest we do to take down Rotexa? She's not like her brother, easily tied to friends. And she's coming alone... less chance of a distraction.'

<You should already have your methods in place, or am I speaking nonsense?>

'Got me. I'll poison her as soon as she gets close, weaken her significantly.'
