Bab 66: Brain vs Brawl

Nik, the ogre, and Drik, the goblin, along with their teams, stepped onto the field. The sight of the not-so-small ping-pong table in the center and the deafening cheers from the audience made them both gulp in anticipation.

Nik lifted his head and took in the packed stadium, the sheer number of spectators far exceeding what he had imagined.

"All of this... just because of me and that stupid troll fighting over a dumb hot spring?" he murmured, feeling a mix of embarrassment and excitement.

He couldn't help but chuckle, realizing just how far things had spiraled. "That Ashtarot really is something else."

Meanwhile, Drik's legs were trembling. The goblin wanted nothing more than to give up and apologize to every race he'd mocked, but then his eyes caught sight of his parents in the luxury box.

He couldn't bring himself to destroy the goblin's dignity.
