Bab 174: A Little Scary

The people in the room looked at Seraphina laughing like a mad woman. The Ghost King dismissed his guards since he did not want people to know about his personal matters. Then, he approached her. 

"Who told you to come here?" Cornelius asked. 

Seraphina calmed down. "Cornelius, do I look like the kind of person who is controlled so easily? Even if you think I am not worthy of you, you should respect my feelings. I fell in love with you of my own volition."

Despite being on the floor, Seraphina still maintained the elegance of a mature woman. This was the reason the people manipulating her in the background chose her. A young girl would not move a man like Cornelius Wentworth. 

Most cultivators and supernatural beings aged slowly to the point of claiming immortality. Therefore, in the strictest terms, taboos regarding age in relationships were not strict. However, many people found it distasteful due to mental age differences.
