Bab 162: Intruder

The Ghost King felt his heart drop to his stomach as he looked at Leila on the floor. 

As an old immortal, he knew that werewolves were anything but weak. In fact, werewolves were not prone to most illnesses. They could be considered some of the most resilient supernatural beings. 

If they were not susceptible to the silver and herbs of the wolfsbane family, they would perhaps be untouchable. Their innate strength coupled with exceptional healing powers made them almost invincible.

Therefore, when he saw his disciple looking all but lifeless on the floor, he knew that she was in danger. 

In his life, he had multiple disciples, some had died, and others had chosen a life away from the mundane world. After all, under his tutelage, they became some of the most powerful people in their respective worlds. 

He never discriminated against species when he was taking disciples.
