Bab 128: Idiot

Amelia was in the crowd, but she tried to make herself as invisible as possible when she heard Lara speak. She had vented to Lara about the situation with Leila and did not want to admit that she exaggerated some things. 

She never told Lara about becoming an official apprentice under Edgar or that Leila helped her get the position. She felt it was not an important piece of information because the spot belonged to her. 

In addition, Lara believed wholeheartedly that Leila was the sinner. If she shared details proving that Leila might not be a bad person, she would stop her smear campaign online against Leila. 

After all, although Lara was naïve and could be manipulated easily, she was also a girl who recognised wrong and right. The only reason she started the campaign was because she wanted to protect Amelia.
