Bab 111: Unworthy Opponent

Leila frowned when she heard the announcement. She did not want to be a high-profile person in Lake City. In addition, Edgar Farrell had not discussed this matter with her. She did not like this type of surprise. 

However, she still had to be considerate about the situation. 

Xavier also showed an unpleasant face after the announcement. He could feel that Leila was not pleased with the sudden public declaration that Leila was going to work with Farrell Motors. 

Leila was a little cold as she looked at the stage. 

"Let us welcome Leila Lawson to the stage!" Edgar continued. 

The entire hall was silent as they waited to see Leila Lawson. After all, it was unusual to find someone who would receive high praise from a legendary character like Edgar Farrel. It could only mean she was a person worth knowing.

Xavier touched Leila's hand and spoke softly to her. "You do not have to go if you do not want to be involved."
