Bab 94: Disinherited

Scarlet and Zain parted on bad terms, and it was unlikely that they would be friends again. The formerly amicable break-up could no longer continue. As each drove home, they were filled with their own thoughts. 

Zain felt a little humiliated after realising that Scarlet agreed to break up with him because she had an eye on another man. No one would be happy to know they were tossed aside for someone else. 

Moreover, it was someone she had just met and knew nothing about. It could have been love at first sight, but it did not justify her actions. He could not imagine how it had come up in the first place when Scarlet and Leila were talking. 

How embarrassing! 

Although Zain was never in love with Scarlet, he had always respected their relationship. He never did anything to let her down. He thought she had the same direct values of a well-educated aristocratic lady.
