Bab 90: Nasty Woman

Leila acted like she did not hear Scarlet. She perused the menu a little more before making her final choice. She looked at Xavier whose eyes were fixed on her. He did not even acknowledge Scarlet. 

Unfortunately, the annoying fly did not get the hint. 

Xavier looked angry, but Leila gave him a look that told him not to interfere in the matter. It would not be good for him to argue with a random unrelated woman. Also, Leila did not want him to look at this woman. 

Leila never begrudged women's right to wear whatever they wanted. However, her heart was a little uncomfortable when she saw Scarlet in a figure-hugging dress, striking a pose near their table on her heels. 

In comparison, she felt a little insecure about her own appearance because she did not have that kind of seductive look. She was realistic in knowing that people only found her cute as opposed to gorgeous.
