Bab 61: Unfair

Amelia felt like she was losing her mind.

Edgar Farrel was one of the most distinguished automotive engineers in the country. He was the person she had wanted to learn from for years because it would launch her career and give her credibility. 

An endorsement from him would mean a gateway to any university and company she wanted to join in the future. After years of working hard towards a career as an engineer, she was certain that Edgar would not reject her.

In addition, when her mentor called her to tell her about the internship at Farrel Motors, she implied that learning from Edgar was a possibility. However, she later discovered that Edgar was retiring, and his son was taking the company over. 

Amelia thought that this was why she could not achieve her dream of becoming Edgar's apprentice. She was at peace with this matter because no one else would get ahead of her since the man was retired.
