"You are not that kind of person, Rick. You are different from your father, and I know your past doesn't define your future," I gently said, trying to keep my voice low even if I wished to tell him to go to hell after he told me how hot Destiny was.

"Wow! It felt like you were trying to fix me, Atty. Galvez, but I'll tell you what: you can't help me. I am a lost cause. I don't care what kind of job was in store for me; I would take it just to survive, and I will make sure I never get caught." He answered.

"I will give you anything you want; just tell me how much?" I asked, and there was silence again on the other line.

"I don't think you can pay me that much, Red Galvez. You are just a lawyer and an employee of the best law firm in the country; unless you own that company, I will believe you." He answered.
