Asher tried everything that he could but Blake was not ready to open his mouth. The man, so obstinate and defiant, continued to keep quiet while bearing every kick, every punch, every slap, and every damn torture technique.

There were a few ties when Bake fainted, and Asher had the guards wake him up forcibly but everything that they did had no affect on Blake's determination. He continued to scream, cry, and writhe in pain but did not utter even a single word regarding why he was trying to harm Seraphina.

"Try what you can, Asher." Blake spat a mouthful of blood, lying on the floor on his stomach, beaten and battered, unable to move, "I will not tell you anything. Let's see how much more torture can Elijah Grayson and his men are capable of."
