Bab 51: [51 - The Calm before the Storm]

When Seraphina arrived at her company, the reporters that had been waiting for her immediately surrounded her car making it difficult for them to go inside. The security guards had to forcefully push them away so as to let Seraphina's car go inside the company premises.

Ignoring the whispering hushed voices, Seraphina went straight to her cabin followed by Gina. Knowing her boss well, Gina had already pushed back all of Seraphina's appointments because she knew of Seraphina's plans.

All of them.

Leaning back on the chair, Seraphina started filing her nails while she waited for Elijah's call which she had been expecting. She did not have to wait for too long as only after 15 minutes of her arriving at the office, she received his call.

"Hello." she answered the call, her voice low and soft.
