Bab 67: Friendly Match

The message wasn't just aimed at Damian, but all the players who had been selected to keep doing their best to gauge how far they had come since the loss in last year's competition.

"Thank you, coach. I'll try not to let you down!" Damian said out loud with a big smile.

Seeing this, his friends could tell that Damian was not his old self. The optimism and cheerfulness he always expresses out loud is proof that everyone can make a change if there is a will. Before being in the dormitory, Kein was one of the witnesses who could see how bad his friend was when he was in the same room as him.

But until now his friend did not know whether this positive side came from himself or there was a little coercion from an unknown person. What is clear is that with Damian gaining the trust of the coach and some of the players, others are trying to follow suit to always see that everyone has a change that can be made slowly, but surely.
