"Ava!"
Alexa, who was originally staring at the flower garden in the backyard of Connor's house, immediately turned around when Louis' voice, who was still wearing a military uniform, called her from a distance. The man walked towards her, with Gerald following behind the man. Both of them smiled slightly as each of them took the initiative to take a seat near Alexa.
"What are you doing in this park alone?" Louis asked to start. Alexa smiled slightly. "Thinking about a lot of things," she answered honestly while looking at the flowers blooming around her. Louis took a deep breath before leaning back on the garden chair.
"Don't think too much, Ava. Your baby will be sad if the mother is always thinking about something heavy," he advised quietly. Alexa listened to all this in silence while her hand unconsciously moved to gently rub her stomach.
Even though I made it that way, it still makes me sad to see how people take advantage of Alexa when she loses her memory.
