The man stared at Penny before his nose crinkled, letting out a short growl. "You little girl think you can mess with us just because you got lucky!"

As soon as those words came off his tongue, he took a large step and reached out for Penny. However, his actions and response didn't surprise her at all. When the man crossed into her vicinity, she twisted her body to the side, grabbing his brawny arms with both hands. Using a trick that Wild had taught her for fighting against a big guy, she placed a foot behind his leg and pushed it back.

The man's eyes went wide, more shocked than surprised the moment his back landed violently on the floor.
