Bab 210: The Endearing Prude

Desmond had volunteered to clean his waiting wife up considering the mess he made of her. His gaze remained on her until he made it into the bathroom. 

He was still in disbelief about what they had just done.

The moment he made it into the room covered with so much marble, he felt like an ancient emperor; he stumbled forward until he was at the bathroom counter and looking at himself in the mirror over the washbasin where he was going to wet a towel for Leonor. 

With his hands on the stone countertop, he leaned all the way forward until his forehead was pressed against the space between his hands. He let out a sharp gasp. Emotions entirely overwhelmed him, but what he felt the most was elation.
