　　I lay there for a second, but then realized if I tortured him he might do something stupid, so I sighed and made myself answer.

　　'I'm going to do nothing except what's needed to keep myself safe,' I conceded.

　　'I'll be back tomorrow. I swear.'

　　'Just make sure you stay safe, Rake. Cazz needs to hear what you know.'

　　'I'm coming back, Jesse. The only way I can do that is to stay safe. Don't worry. Focus on yourself. You stay safe. Please. I'm begging you.'
