Bab 182: Der Zustand von Sumeri

Meeting Sumeri in Antigos Village, in the land of the Sprite, Ren immediately spotted her in the crowd.

Different from newcomers, Sumeri stood relaxed, arms crossed. She didn't resemble the typical Dark Mages, who often seemed downtrodden, gazing at the ground. More like a swordsman, her posture and expression exuded that of a warrior princess—the kind you'd be eager to join in battle, not oppose.

Sumeri's face, usually serious and a tad stern, softened into a gentle smile when she saw Ren.

"Yo!" she greeted.

Ren briefly scanned the surroundings before inquiring, "Where's Nikolai?"

Sumeri's smile faded. "I'd rather not drag Nikolai into this escapade."

Ren furrowed his brow. "Somehow, I suspect I won't appreciate what you're plotting."

For the first time, a mischievous grin spread across Sumeri's face, perfectly reflecting the twinkle of naughtiness in her eyes. "Trust me, you'll enjoy it."
