Asahi was very strong in chakra control and using jutsu such as Rock Pillar Spears would not waste extra chakra at all, but this doesn't mean that he could use jutsu at will.
Thinking of this, Asahi couldn't help but have a slight envy of the protagonist Uzumaki Naruto of the original anime. Naruto had an extraordinary recovery ability, his chakra reserves even as a kid were even more than enough to use [Multiple Shadow Clone Jutsu] multiple times during a fight.
If Asahi could own chakra reserves like Naruto, with his ability in chakra control, his strength would definitely be several times higher, and he could even fight like a long range mage (ninjutsu-focused ninja).
