Xavier [ III ]
Xavier was ready to sacrifice anything to leave earth but not his class, he doesn't rven have any plans of sacrificing his mage subclass to begin with.
"I don't want to sacrifice that," he replied firmly.
"ARE YOU TRYING TO GO AGAINST ME!!?" Phantom thundered.
"If you don't want to sacrifice that then you can simply forget about the thoughts of breaking reborn," he added, trying to make Xavier change his mind.
"And you should note that once a mortal initiates an exchange, he can't go back without completing exchange except he dies in the process so be warned,"
Xavier stared at those power hungry red eyes of Phantom that is now filled with extreme greed.
'Fuck,' Xavier cursed inwardly.
If he knew this greedy bastard wasn't the creator trying to test him, he would have lied about his class.
Xavier would never sacrifice the author class, it is a rare part of him that could work against all odds and make him whatever he wanted to be, even a god.
According to Phantom, it is a power similar to the creator (God) how could he give up on such a power? His curious power hungry self would never try such a thing.
"I initiated the exchange with a cause and I am determined to complete it," Xavier muttered.
"I can exchange for the opportunity to reborn by granting you fame among humans, it is an offer I know you don't want to miss," Xavier revealed his offer, hoping for phantom to accept.
"Who needs fame among humans? That is little compared to the power that rivals the creator's.. such powers shouldn't have landed in your hands in the first place, so give it up,"
Hearing Phantom replies, Xavier realized that it would be more difficult than he initially thought.
'What should I do?'
In the human world, he has been able to control a judge to give him a favourable hearing.
He has controlled a war general to threaten a large businessman to sell his company.
He has controlled the president to obtain informations that could shock the world.
On earth, he had the power to control everything. His schemes never fails, it was like writing a novel, all events from beginning till end are known and easily executed by the author using the characters as pawns.
But here,
He couldn't use his powers! He was like an ant in front of a lion.
What could he possibly do?
"You have no choice, I have determined the cost of rebirth and it's your author class," Phantom reminded.
After this last statement, ten minutes passed in this dark space and both being engaged in a staring contest with none willing to speak. One was thinking of an answer and the other awaited one.
Xavier studied his situation in this short time and realized his advantages.
'It appears it doesn't have the power to kill me and take my powers if not it would have done that from the very start and he can't read my mind either which is another big advantage,'
"Character hack," he whispered.

'It also appears I can use system here but none of my powers can work here as the level of the character is too much for character hack to activate,'
Normally if it was a lower level character, the character hack skill would activate on his own and he would then decide if he wants to control that character or not.

His two functioning skills couldn't activate on Phantom leaving him with no choice but to check out his other skill.
"Reality change,"

Suddenly, time seems to paused around Xavier and phantom, the darkness around him seized and even Phantom seems to be under this time pause.
Only Xavier and a strange scroll that suddenly appeared in front of him moved against the paused time.
"What's this scroll," Xavier transfered his focus to the scroll which began unwrapping in front of him, a quill pen even floated out of nowhere and arrived beside the scroll.
But he was more focused on the calligraphy text on the scroll than any other object in his surrounding.

Xavier is stucked with the dark angel, a worker of the grand creator in a moment where his schemes fails and the dark angel is focused on one goal - obtaining the power to change reality and rewrite his position...
....With no option to change his situation, he gives up and offers his class for a chance at rebirth..
Xavier eyes kept widening in shock the more he studied the words written on the scroll.
"This is like reading a novel but the difference is that the main character of the novel is actually me," he couldn't believe his eyes.
"It's like reading the future... or should I describe it as reading a script for a play, the next lines are my future part of the play..but,"
Xavier spotted a quill pen and a small white object that appeared like an eraser floating beside the note.
"I can edit it and change my future! This is the reality change skill, it's so powerful!" He remarked as he grabbed the pen, staring at the first paragraph.
Xavier is stucked with the dark angel, a worker of the grand creator in a moment where his schemes fails and the dark angel is focused on one goal - obtaining the power to change reality and rewrite his position...
"It is defined here that his goal is obtaining my powers but I can erase and rewrite. There might be a time limit, I have to act fast!"
He placed the eraser on the scroll the erased the last two lines.
Focused on one goal - obtaining the opportunity to witness a human dance in front of him.
He moved his hand down to the last three paragraphs and changed some lines as fast as he could, ensuring they all connected with the lines he changed in the first paragraph.
"This is good enough," Xavier smiled.
"I pray it worked," he whispered as he let go of the quill pen, signifying the end of his reality change.

He is worried that time might resume at its normal pace soon and when that is done, he might not get to succeed in his reality change because he is sure phantom might discover what's happening and try to stop it.

Xavier eyes almost fell out when he noticed the timing pace has decreased so much. Based on his rough calculation if the timing continue in this pace it would take more than two hours to complete!
Xavier stared at the slow counting tab with gritted teeth, failing notice that time has began to move in it's normal pace and phantom was staring hatingly at him.
