Bab 49: Chapter 49

Zayne closed the door behind him. 

"Have you heard any news about the soldiers searching for me? Has Graham troubled you?" Rose asked, worried for Zayne's sake.

"He has not and I have not seen any soldiers since I helped you. They will have to give up at some point and even if they find themselves at my doors, I will not allow them in. Would you like him to die? Graham," Zayne clarified.

All of Rose's troubles would stop there.

"I would love for him to drop dead but I hope you are not the one thinking of killing him. I have troubled you enough. I don't want you to kill him for me," Rose answered. "You would be tortured even more since you are not from this land. What of your truce?"

"I would have to be caught to be tortured. You only need to say it and I can get rid of him for you," Zayne offered.
