I can't believe she read my minds, she knows in and out of me
" Can you pretend you don't know anything about me for once?" I begged her
" I will pretend I didn't see both of you lock eye just now" she answered grinning
I made a weird look at her as I was short of words to say to her
" Anyway, while you were lonely on Sunday, Mr. Ade the CEO of Adedag Cosmetics called to have a meeting with us and guess what? He demands we will be needing the photographer of your latest magazine, Tada!" Amanda said spreading her hands as if I had opened a surprise package
I stood there looking at her as I wanted to hear why she didn't tell me first about this so that I won't be more surprised than this
" Looking at your expression, I guess you didn't see the message I sent to you on your email" she said
" You did?" I asked when she had spoken my mind
" I did stupid" She cursed in a playful way
" I didn't check my email on Sunday" I told her
" I didn't check my email on Sunday" She mimicked me " you were probably at the coffee shop admiring all the lovers" She teased me and I quickly stretched my hands to drag her hair playfully
" Not the wig" She said dodging my hands
She was right though, i did went to the coffee shop for my special coffee from Mr. Charles but he was nowhere to be found.
" Let's go, Mr. Ade will be here soon for the meeting" She said leaving me behind.
I joined her " I will get you for this" I told her

My eye met with Jackson who was laughing so hard with one of my female staffs inside the meeting room, they stopped the moment they had seen me enter
We exchanged greetings like we always do before I sat down and Amanda joined me.
" Someone important will be joining us today" I told them. " Very important person to meet" I said again looking at Jackson who had been starring at me ever since I sat down
