This is related to the cultivated Evolution Skill, as some skills can cause massive transformations to the Alloy Carapace, while others result in only minor changes.

When different people cultivate the same Evolution Skill, their Alloy Carapaces tend to have similar designs. Though they will not be identical, they are usually quite alike.

Thus, identifying the Evolution Skill based on the design of the carapace is one method, and common Base Change skills are relatively easy to recognize.

The Five Fundamental Evolution Skills are even easier to recognize due to the large number of practitioners.
