Bab 15: Chapter-15 (Fire Style : Rasen-Canon)
Naruto was able to learn the Flying Thunder God technique, but his reaction speed was slow. When Naruto practiced the Flying Thunder God technique, he always felt others' presence. He thought, "That's definitely guards set by Hiruzen." So, Naruto decided he had to practice somewhere secluded.
After some time, Naruto created kunai imbued with the Flying Thunder God seal and went near Konoha's entrance. But he couldn't leave without Hiruzen's permission, so he threw one of his kunai outside the wall without anyone seeing and teleported outside. Naruto thought, "I can easily teleport back home because I have marked it with the Flying Thunder God seal."
Naruto began a long journey, running fast after leaving the village. He finally reached a place between Konohagakure and Sunagakure (the Land of Wind). The area looked like a desert since it was the border of both villages, ensuring no one would disturb him while practicing his ninjutsu. Naruto started marking his Flying Thunder God seal on some boulders and rocks and also hid his Flying Thunder God seal-imbued kunai. This way, he could easily teleport between his home and the training place.
Naruto needed more training to master the Flying Thunder God technique, so he started practicing there. After each session, he teleported back home. One of his clones attended the academy, so no one noticed Naruto leaving the village. One month later, Naruto could perform the Flying Thunder God technique better than before. He thought, "After a month of training, I can perform the Flying Thunder God technique much better."
Naruto then realized, "I have support-type jutsu, but I don't have destructive-type jutsu. Even though I have the Rasengan, it doesn't cause much destruction." He considered, "What if I create a jutsu like 'Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken'? It's a pretty destructive type jutsu created using the wind nature in combination with the Rasengan." However, he knew that jutsu was also dangerous for the user, causing self-harm. So, he needed to think of another type of jutsu.
Naruto teleported back home and, while trying to sleep, remembered, "I know how to use Fire Style jutsu. What if I combine fire chakra nature into the Rasengan? It may become more dangerous, so I need to use clones to practice that jutsu." The next day, Naruto teleported to his training place on the border between Konoha and Sunagakure. His clone attended the academy while he created 200 clones to practice mixing the Rasengan with fire chakra. Every clone started practicing the jutsu, but it was hard to mix the two chakra natures.
After one week, Naruto's clones managed to imbue fire chakra into the Rasengan, but it released a tremendous amount of heat, causing the clones to disappear even before fully imbuing the fire chakra. Naruto couldn't solve the problem. He continued practicing, trying to find a way to prevent his clones from disappearing due to the overheat.
Two days later, Naruto still couldn't solve the issue. Every time he tried, his clones disappeared. He went home, and while trying to sleep, he thought, "What if I cover the Rasengan with wind chakra on the outside, not mixing it with the Rasengan? If I cover the Rasengan with wind chakra, I can prevent it from affecting me."
The next day, Naruto tried his new idea. He created 200 clones, forming groups of four, with each group consisting of one clone creating the Rasengan, another mixing fire nature chakra into it, and two others covering the Rasengan with wind chakra. Every clone group started practicing.
After two days, his clones created a Rasengan imbued with fire release chakra. The Rasengan was pure red and covered by wind chakra to prevent heat leakage. However, due to an inability to maintain the wind chakra, the Rasengan blasted, creating a massive hole in the ground. Naruto thought, "Look at that! I'd say it's the most destructive type of jutsu. If I complete this jutsu, it will be even more powerful. I have to be careful until I master it; a small mistake, and I'll be doomed."
Naruto continued practicing every day, teleporting home with empty chakra. His constant training pushed his limits, making him proficient in combining chakra natures. His chakra grew enormously, doubling in three months due to the Kurama's influence, which also healed every wound he got during training.
After one month of continuous training, Naruto created a perfect Rasengan with fire chakra mixed in. The Rasengan was dark red, emitting heat waves. Without wind chakra protection, even his clones couldn't tolerate the jutsu and were obliterated. Naruto canceled all his clones and went home, thinking, "I have to continue my practice."
Naruto aimed to use the jutsu without the help of clones. After two months of training, he could create the jutsu alone. He formed a Rasengan imbued with fire chakra nature, covered with wind chakra. Despite the wind chakra protection, he could feel the tremendous heat. Using the Gale Palm technique, he shot the Rasengan at a big boulder, creating a massive blast and a 30-meter radius pit. Naruto thought, "Look at my dangerous, destructive type of jutsu. It even surpassed the Wind Style: Rasen-Shuriken. Because I covered the Rasengan with wind chakra, it didn't disappear until it hit the target."
The next day, Naruto came early to practice. He created a normal-sized Rasengan with fire chakra and thought, "What if I pour all my chakra into this?" naruto creates a rasengan… The Rasengan became Naruto's size, but he couldn't tolerate the heat and suddenly shot it. The resulting blast was enormous, creating a 100-meter radius of destruction. Feeling dizzy, Naruto forcefully teleported back home and fainted.
The blast was so powerful that people in Konoha and Sunagakure heard the sound and felt the wave. Naruto's newly created jutsu was incredibly destructive. It took two days for Naruto to wake up due to the shock his body experienced from using the Flying Thunder God technique with empty chakra.
After two days, Naruto woke up. Starts thinking
He thought about what to name his newly invented jutsu. "It's purely fire-type chakra... It blasts like a bomb or cannon," he mused. Then it hit him. "That's right... Fire Style: Rasen-Cannon. That name is so cool. Just like the name suggests, it is a powerful and destructive ability."
(Naruto didn't notice how enormously his powers and abilities had grown, even though he was barely seven years old. In the village, no one could stop Naruto's jutsu because of its immense destructive power. Naruto's chakra continued to grow tremendously. His destructive power could easily obliterate Kage-level shinobi. He even had an S-rank jutsu (Flying Thunder God Jutsu), and now he had created another S-rank jutsu: Fire Style: Rasen-Cannon. No one could stop Naruto now.)
