Bab 18: Not Polite
The three figures walked side by side.
On the left, Ming Ze saw an old man whose body was hunched and thin, yet had thick fur all over his chest while his face had a long beard and sideburns covering both cheeks.
His eyes were small yet round, fiery red in color.
Apparently, he had a second head at the back of his head, a strange but seemingly very natural shape for him.
He was holding a long staff that was twice as tall as him. It was pitch black in color, like it was made of steel but seemed more flexible.
Ming Ze didn't need to guess to know that he was the Two-Headed Old Ape.
To the right was a shirtless middle-aged man.
He carried nothing as a weapon, yet his body itself was like a weapon.
It was large, filled with huge muscles so that his veins were clearly visible and they were black like steel wire.
He even had an expression that seemed ferocious with his mustache and long hair in messy curls.
At all times, he exuded an aura like an angry lion.
As for the figure in the center, it was a young man wearing a black robe.
His pair of eyes are like darkness, looking at him will make you feel like your consciousness is lost into the infinite darkness.
His aura is calm but cold.
Looking at the three, you would instantly feel that the middle one was the most terrifying.
The middle-aged man should be the Mountain King while the young man was the Ancient Night King.
Ming Ze observed them while they observed him.
"Kekeke, so he's our boss, the one who can make us disappear with just a thought." The Old Ape suddenly spoke while chuckling.
After that, the Mountain King also spoke. "He seems weak, might be fun to beat up, but well, we can't do that."
As they spoke, the cold eyes of the Ancient Night King looked at them in turn.
"Mind your words. No matter what, he is our absolute boss, don't make him look dishonorable," he said, reprimanding the two.
He was the one who looked the youngest but he seemed to be the wisest.
"Come on Ancient Night, we know what we're doing, we're just speaking our minds. In front of people, we naturally behave well and obey their orders." The Old Monkey replied.
"He's right!" The Mountain King agreed with his words.
"We don't need to be too polite here. Although he is our absolute boss, we can't allow him to look down on us. If that's the case, he might treat us as he pleases later."
Ming Ze, "..."
'System, they seem to be the unruly type. They even dare to mock me in front of me.' Ming Ze couldn't help but speak to System because this was different from what he had said.
'Well, Master, this is inevitable because their personalities are set up that way, but the important thing is, they are submissive to you, and they will definitely obey your orders to do things. You just can't control their personalities.' The System replied.
After that, they finally arrived about three meters in front of him.
"Greetings Master, I am the Ancient Night King, ready to serve you and do as you command." The man in the center saluted while kneeling as he introduced himself to him.
However, he was the only one who did that. The other two remained standing while looking at him with smiles that weren't smiles.
At this point, Ming Ze could only nod to the Ancient Night King.
"Stand up," he said.
Once the Ancient Night King stood up, he looked at the Two-Headed Old Ape and the Mountain King.
"Are you two going to continue like this?" he asked them.
"What are we like? Is there something wrong?" Old Ape asked back, pretending not to realize his mistake.
"Old Ape!" The Ancient Night King called out to him, reprimanding him with a glare.
However, he was completely ignored.
"Son, don't expect courtesy from us here," the Mountain King said loudly.
He seemed even more unrestrained.
This was a real provocation to Ming Ze.
"Aren't you afraid of me making you disappear?" Ming Ze asked him with a furrowed forehead.
"Tsk! Tsk!" The Old Ape suddenly chuckled again.
"What's there to be afraid of. If you really don't need our help, you can make us disappear as you please. We didn't exist in the first place," he said.
He apparently didn't care about threats like being eliminated because he didn't think it was scary. At most, Ming Ze himself had the loss of losing a powerful subordinate.
'Master, I think you need to tolerate their attitude. After all, they're just NPCs that don't have life processes. They're just trying to follow the instincts given to them. Later, they will redirect their attitude towards others when they meet new people.' System said.
'I still want to teach them a lesson.' Ming Ze replied.
He couldn't just leave this matter at that.

Ming Ze raised two fingers.
Right after that, an invisible force gathered around the two men, enveloping their bodies.
Their eyes widened, and when they tried to move their bodies, they found that they were unable to move.
They then used force, but found that their power was also suppressed.
"Son, you?" Old Ape and the Mountain King were stunned.
"You guys are just small fish compared to the Immortal House. As long as you're in here, don't think about being able to act freely," Ming Ze said.
After which, he looked at the Ancient Night King.
"I'll give you the task of disciplining them. Do whatever it takes," he said.
"Yes!" The Ancient Night King instantly received the order, surprising the two men.
"Ancient Night, what do you want to do?" asked the Mountain King.
Since they were born together, they were like brothers.
It was beyond their expectations that the Ancient Night King didn't seem to mind disciplining them at all.
"If you don't want to suffer, be polite to Master. I will not refrain from teaching you a lesson," said the Ancient Night King in response.
It seemed that he really didn't care that they appeared together.
His focus was only on serving Ming Ze as his master.
If only the two of them behaved like him, Ming Ze wouldn't have to do anything like this.
Ming Ze found this funny, but he was happy that the man was being nice to him.
"I'll leave first, I'll see you later," he said with a faint smile.

He disappeared, appearing in Xia Qinghe's room again.
