Bab 411: Chapter 412: The Warm Daily Life of the Sun God's Faction (Part 2)

"Pfft, you don't need to remind me, I'm a hunter after all…" Medici swirled his wine glass with a hint of disdain on his face. "When it comes to acting, He's no match for you."

When it comes to sensing and controlling emotions, the Hunter Pathway is undoubtedly one of the best among the 22 pathways, rivaled only by the Demoness and Visionary Pathways.

So, naturally, Medici could see through the true nature hidden behind Aucuses' gentle façade.

In fact, it was precisely for this reason that Medici and Aucuses had always been at odds. Medici truly disliked dealing with someone who, even when facing comrades, was all false emotions.

Hearing this, Lynn felt slightly relieved but then suddenly said, "What do you mean He's no match for me in acting? When did I ever act in front of you?"

Medici rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed, as if he wanted to write on his face—"When didn't you act in front of me?"

"Can that even be called acting? At most, it's just bluffing!" Lynn said confidently.

"Isn't bluffing worse than acting?" Ouroboros asked with confusion.

"Pfft! Hahaha! You finally said something reasonable, you Snake!" Medici laughed unrestrainedly, his laughter as arrogant as it could be.

"No matter how much I bluff, it's still better than some people who are more stubborn than a bone!" Lynn squinted his eyes, seemingly unbothered by the remark, but in the following game, "Fate" once again "favored" Medici.

"Come on, this time it's the truth…" Lynn smiled slyly at a certain angel of war and slowly said, "While I was asleep, were you worried about me?"

Medici paused, then downed the wine in his glass in one go, wiping his mouth carelessly with his sleeve before replying in his usual mocking tone, "Don't be so narcissistic."

"But if you weren't worried about Lynn, Medici, why did you drink?" Ouroboros asked with genuine curiosity.

"Yeah, why did you drink? Hahaha!" This time, it was Lynn's turn to laugh.

On the other side, observing the lively scene at their table, Sasrir's gaze softened. Suddenly sensing something, He turned to the figure beside him and asked with some confusion, "Lord, why are You here?"

"Just finished handling some matters, so I came to check on things." The Ancient Sun God replied calmly, also quietly watching the lively trio not far away. He then said, "I'm equally glad that Lynn has awakened."

Sasrir was momentarily stunned.

"I've already contacted Amanises. She'll be here in a few days to discuss our next steps against Aurmir. When she arrives, you'll be responsible for receiving her."

The Ancient Sun God suddenly shifted the topic, as if the previous statement was just a casual remark. He glanced at Sasrir, then added after some thought, "You can bring Lynn along. Amanises should also be happy about His awakening."

Although Lynn and Amanises had only met a few times in this era, the two had always gotten along well, possibly due to the shared traits of being transmigrators.

"Understood, I'll take care of it." Sasrir nodded quickly, already constructing a plan to welcome Amanises based on what he knew about her. Then, from the corner of his eye, he noticed that Leodero had somehow joined Lynn and the others. They seemed to have exchanged a few words before Leodero became part of the group.

Soon after, Sasrir saw Lynn scanning the surroundings, locking onto His position with precision, and waving at Him, "Sasrir! Sasrir! Come join us for a game! We need another player for Werewolf."

He then glanced at the Ancient Sun God and hesitated for a moment before enthusiastically inviting, "Sun God, would You like to join us?"

Sasrir hesitated, glancing at the Ancient Sun God beside him, only to see His body slightly nod in approval.

"Go ahead, a little entertainment helps increase efficiency in future tasks."

And so, the two of them walked towards Lynn.

...

The banquet of the Second Epoch was lively and boisterous, while the mechanical angel of the Fourth Epoch was also awakening simultaneously.

'Thank goodness, it's only been three months, not a hundred years…' Getting almost traumatized by the century-long slumber in the Second Epoch, Lynn instinctively checked how long he had been asleep. Thankfully, while it wasn't as short as the seven days in the Fifth Epoch, it was only three months. Although it delayed some matters, it was far from the drastic changes that occurred after his previous hundred-year slumber.

'However, to prevent this from happening again, I'd better make preparations before any future sleep…' Lynn muttered to himself. He then noticed Ouroboros sitting quietly on the ground, eyes closed in prayer.

Behind him was a massive cross, but unlike in the Fifth Epoch, there was no inverted figure hanging on it—only a figure sitting atop the cross, quietly reading a book.

Lynn paused, his eyes widening slightly in surprise. He looked incredulously at the figure on the cross and uncertainly asked, "True Creator?"

"It's me." The figure leaped down from the massive cross, landing steadily on the ground. His cloak fluttered, revealing a face that was seven parts similar to Sasrir's and three parts similar to the Ancient Sun God's.

But Lynn wasn't focused on the face; after all, it wasn't the first time he'd seen the face beneath the cloak. What truly caught Lynn's attention was that the True Creator's eyes, once nearly overwhelmed by madness and negative emotions, leaving only a sliver of rationality, were now much clearer, almost like those of a normal Sequence 0, with none of the usual maddening whispers.

It's worth noting that the True Creator of the Fourth Epoch, while not as mad as in the Fifth Epoch, still bore some madness.

'Could it be…' Lynn immediately thought of something and asked, "Did the buff from my slumber affect you as well?"

"Yes," the True Creator nodded, causing Lynn to reveal a regretful expression.

Lynn seemed slightly disappointed, "If I had known, I would have slept a little longer…"

"There's no need for that. This is just a temporary clarity. I'd rather you wake up sooner." The True Creator shook his head, appearing in good spirits. He even joked, "Thankfully, you didn't sleep for another hundred years like before, or I wouldn't have had a prince to wake up the Sleeping Beauty."

"Shouldn't it be a princess?" Lynn retorted. He then fell silent, looking at the temporarily lucid True Creator. After several seconds, he finally said:

"I will help you regain complete clarity, so you can live like this forever."

"I look forward to that day," the True Creator smiled, his expression warm as always.

He reminded, "But don't push yourself too hard."
