Bab 227: Chapter 227 VACANT SUITE

KELLY'S POV

‘‘Kelly…?’’ Cheol pulled away from me but his hands remained on the ball of my shoulders. He frowned before disbelief crossed his expression. Shock skated all over his face as he looked me in the eyes.

I couldn't move and just stared back at him. My eyes were still welling up with tears. But I knew, I'm now safe because he's here.

He shifted his gaze away from me and muttered what appeared to be a silent curse. When he looked me in the eyes again, his expression became more serious.

‘‘When my staff told me your name, I had no idea it was you, Kelly Matthews. I’m sorry…I---‘’ He paused in the middle of his statement and pinched his eyes shut before pulling me into a tight hug once again as he noticed tears starting to fall down my cheeks. ‘‘I’m sorry, princess. I’m so sorry…’’

I nodded and buried my face in his chest. I can't bring myself to be angry with him. None of this was his fault in the least.
