STELLA’s POV

When I walked out of the house, Ben was already waiting for me at the doorway. He followed me as I walked closer to the car. “Stella, there’s still time to change your mind.”

I pursed my lips as I turned to look at him. “I’m sorry, Ben... but I have already made my decision. And that’s final.”

I just hope that Tyler’s idea of this marriage was only to make Maxine out of his life and not to ruin mine or he would see what I was capable of doing.

So, technically, our marriage would be just a piece of paper. I hope that one year would pass quickly and then it’s over. I would finally be free from everyone who gave me headaches.

At least, Tyler wasn’t some kind of an old man perverted CEO.

Old man? Nope…but perverted? Uhm…yes? But I hated myself for giving in yesterday. I hope he won’t kiss me again without my permission.

I mean... even if we’re going to live in the same house, I will make sure to separate room from him. And I will never let him kiss me again.
