Bab 117: Sword Aura - 1st Step

Lily hacked through another cultist, her sword flashing as she cut them down with a single swing. Blood sprayed into the air, splattering against the crumbling stone walls of the battlefield.

Dammit, Arthur. She cursed under her breath, her grip tightening on the hilt of her sword. The ground shook beneath her feet—again. Every few seconds, it was another explosion, another building coming down. Every time she tried to focus on the fight, something else collapsed because her brother was fighting like a maniac.

She ducked under the swing of another cultist, their blade glancing off her shoulder armor as she spun and retaliated. Her sword cut clean through, splitting the cultist's chest open in one fluid motion. His eyes widened in shock before he crumpled to the ground.

"Do you have to destroy everything, Arthur?" she growled to herself, her breath coming in heavy bursts.
