Bab 249: Saturday ?

The sunlight crept through the curtains, a soft golden hue that gently kissed the room awake. I stirred, rolling over and feeling the unfamiliar warmth next to me.

Blinking sleep away, I found Chloe sprawled out beside me, her hair a wild mess on the pillow, mouth slightly open, and one arm dangling off the bed. It took me a moment to remember why she was there last night's impromptu sleepover after a long day of shopping, snacking, and laughing.

The peaceful morning vibe didn't last long, though. Chloe's phone buzzed loudly on the nightstand, a harsh intrusion in the serene room. She groaned and reached for it, eyes still half-closed as she glanced at the screen.

"Oh my god!" she suddenly shrieked, sitting up so quickly that she nearly headbutted me. "Elena, we're late!"
