Emily felt the pulse of the relic once more, faint but undeniable. It had been her hand, her will, but the power? That had come from something ancient, something far beyond her control or understanding. The thought sent a chill down her spine as she rose unsteadily to her feet.

"Let's not waste any time here," Emily said, shaking off the lingering dizziness. "We need to move, regroup, and figure out our next step."
